 Our Beginning...

Started in May of 1997, NAUI Technical Training Operations codified tec community training practices resulting in a higher standard of training worldwide. For expert help, we asked the people who created the technology, protocols and training methods that produced a tec diving community. We formed advisory councils comprised of:

Professional Divers
Engineers
Physicians
Researchers
to help us develop all aspects of our training. As a result of their work, NAUI Instructors can provide you with the skills, knowledge and discipline to manage technical diving while minimizing risk.
