NAUI is the first mainstream agency that now certifies all levels of diving ranging from traditional recreational training through all levels of technical training.
NAUI Technical Training Operations was born in May of 1997 from the need to codify and upgrade worldwide standards within the technical diving community. In order to assure that NAUI had the highest quality standards and technical diving programs, NAUI Technical Training Operations developed a Technical Training Advisory Board and Rebreather Advisory Board to assist in technical standards and all aspects of technical training. NAUI Technical Training Operations have implemented policies that will assure the diver of the highest technical instructor quality.
Proper training with a qualified experienced instructor is the first step in technical diving. When seeking education in diving programs one must carefully evaluate the instructor and the certification agency endorsing the instructor. You must be confident in the experience and reputation of the instructor as well as the standards and quality control of the certifying agency. NAUI Instructors will provide you with the detailed training skills that will arm you with the knowledge and discipline to manage technical diving while minimizing risk.
NAUI Technical Instructors are trained to not only qualify you for your dive objective, but also to give you a healthy respect for the technical diving environment.
